Hi Leen
The hardest part is to get started as a writer. Well, you have already crossed that first hurdle.
You can develop the story of that childless sister(or is it an aunt?)
who, it appears, loved and adopted you into a moving story.
Keep a notebook.Learn to jot down interesting
bits of conversations and characters you come across in real life. They are germs of stories although they may not appear so at first.Later see how they germinate…
Newspapers are full of story ideas.Like, for example, the tragic death of that seven year old Bangladeshi boy, fatally wounded by a falling bag of cement. An irony of fate. His parents are doctors!
Granted mine is not an exclusive list of recommendations. In time, if you continue to write, you will discover other sources of story ideas.
If I write in English in stead of
Dhivehi, it is because the design of this column make it an impossibly hard task to write a longer piece in Thaana script from right to left.
Besides you wrote in English.Wish you success a writer!

Get the story out.Get the ink flowing without stopping to revise. Then write a second and third
draft, more if necessary. You will be surprised to see how each keeps improving. Finally when you are satisfied, leave the draft aside for a few days, a week or so, and then take it up and revise. That is going to be your final draft.Wish you luck!
thanx a;lot for all ur supports
