ވިއްސާރަ ދުވަހެކެވެ. އެއްއަތުން ކުޑައެއް ނަގައިގެން އަނެއް އަތުން ފޯނާ ކުޅެމުން އޭ.ޑީ.ކޭ ހޮސްޕިޓަލު ތެރެއިން ނިކުތް ނައުރީންއަކަށް އޭނާ ކުރިމަތިން އައި ޒާއިންއެއް ނުފެނުނެވެ. ޒާއިންގެ ނަޒަރުވެސް ހުރީ އޭނާގެ ފޯނަށް ހުއްޓިފައި ކަމުން އޭނާއަށް ނައުރީން ފެނުންވީ ނާދިރުކަމަކަށެވެ. ކުޑައެއްގެ ހިޔާ ނުވަތަ ކޯޓެއްގެ އެހީތަރިކަން ލިބިފައި ނެތުމުގެ ސަބަބުން އޭނާ ދިޔައީ ބޮޑު ތިކިވާރޭގެ މުތީތަކެއް ފަދަ ތިކިތަކުން ތެމި ފޯވަމުންނެވެ. ލައިގެން ހުރި ނޫކުލައިގެ ޓީޝާރޓު ވަނީ ގައިގައި ތަތްލަވާފައެވެ. ކަނދުރާއާ ހަމައަށް އަރާ ފަންއިސްތަށިގަނޑު ތެމިފައި އޮތުމުން ވަނީ ހޭވިފައެވެ. އިސްޓަށިގަނޑުގެ އެއްބައި މޫނުމައްޗައް ވެއްޓިިފައި އޮތުމުން ބަލާލަން ރީއްޗެވެ. ދެމީހުންގެ ފިޔަވަޅުތަށްވެސް ދިޔައީ ކުރިއަށެވެ. ނަގާލާ ކޮންމެ ފިޔަވަޅަކުންވެސް ނައުރީންއާ ޒާއިންގެ ދެމެދުގައިވި ދުރުކަން ދިޔައީ ކުޑަވަމުންނެވެ. އެކަކު އަނެކަކު ގައިގައި ޖެހުމުން އިތުރު ފިޔަވަޅެއް ކުރިއަށް އަޅާނޭ ފުރުސަތެއް ނުލިބުނެވެ. ނައުރީން އިސްއުފުލާލާ ބަލާލިއެވެ. ޒާއިންވެސް ފޯނުން އޭނާގެ ނަޒަރު ވަކިކޮށްލިއެވެ. ދެމީހުންގެ ހަތަރު ކަޅި ބައްދަލުވި ހިނދު ލިބިގެން ދިޔައީ ކުއްލި ސިހުމެކެވެ. ނައުރީންގެ އަތުގައި އޮތް ކުޑަވެސް އޭނާގެ އަތުން ވީއްލިގެން ބިންމައްޗައް ވެއްޓުނެވެ. އެވަގުތު ޖަހާލި ހޮނު ގުގުރީގެ އަޑު ، މުޅި މާހައުލުގައި އިވެމުން ދިޔަ ވާރޭ ތިކިތަކުގެ ހިތްގައިމު މިއުޒިކީ އަޑަށްވުރެ ގަދަކޮށްލައިފިއެވެ.
