މެންދުރުގެ ހޫނު ގަދަ ވަގުތެވެ. އުމުރުން 10 އަހަރުގެ އީވާން އިސްކޯލު ނިންމާފައި ދިޔައީ ގެއާއި ދިމާލަށެވެ. ގެއަށް ދިޔަ މަގު މަތީގައި އީވާން ތައްޔާރު ކޮއްފައި ހުރި ހެދިކާ ކޮޅު ހޮޓަލަކަށް ލިޔެވެ. އޭތިކޮޅު ވިއްކާލައިގެން ރުފިޔާކޮޅެއް ލިބޭ ތޯއެވެ.
އީވާންގެ އުމުރުން 8 އަހަރުގައި އީވާންގެ މަންމައާއި ބައްޕަ ވަނީ ދިމާވި ނުރައްކާތެރި އެކްސިޑެންޓެއްގައި ނިޔާ ވެފައެވެ. އީވާންގެ މައިންބަފައިންގެ ކައިވެންޏަކީ ނުގަބޫލުގައި ކުރެވުނު ކައިވެންޏެއް ކަމުން އީވާންއާއި އީވާންގެ ކޮއްކޮ އީނާލް ބަލާނެ އެކަކު ވެސް ނުވިޔެވެ. އުމުރުން 5 އަހަރުގެ އީނާލް ބަލަމުން ދިޔައީ އީވާން އެކަންޏެވެ.
އީވާން ގެއަށް ވަނުމާއި އެކު ގޭތެރެއިން އީވާންއަށް މަރްހަބާ ކިއީ ހަމަހިމޭން ކަމާއި އަނދިރި ކަމެވެ. އީވާން ދަބަސް ޖޯލި ފަތީގައި ބާއްވަމުން އެތެރެއަށް ވަނެވެ. އީނާލް އަބަދު ވެސް އީވާން އަންނަ އިރު ބޭރު ޖޯލި ފަތީގައި އިނދެޔެވެ. މިއަދު ކިހިނެތް ވީ ބާއެވެ؟
ގޭތެރެއަށް ވަނުމާއި އެކު އީނާލްގެ މަޑު ގިސްލުމުގެ އަޑު އީވާންގެ ކަންފަތުގައި ޖެހުނެވެ. ވަގުތުން އީވާންގެ ހަށިގަނޑަށް އެރީ ކޮންކަހަލަ ބާރެއް ކަމެއް ވެސް ނޭނގެޔެވެ. ކޮޓަރިއަށް ވައިން އިރު ކަމަކު ދާކަށް ނެތެވެ. ފެނިގެން ދިޔަ މަންޒަރުން އީވާނަށް އަޑުން އަޑު ނަގާ ރޮވިއްޖެ އެވެ.
އެނދު މަތީގައި ހެއްދެވި ގޮތަށް އޮތް އީނާލްގެ ހަށިގަނޑުގެ އެތަން މިތާގައި ލެޔާއި ލަކުނު ހުއްޓެވެ. ތުރު ތުރު ލަމުން ދިޔަ އަތް ހަމަ އަކަށް އަޅުވަން މަސައްކަތް ކުރަމުން އީނާލްގެ ހަށިގަނޑުގައި އީވާން ފޮތިގަނޑު އަޅާ ނިވާ ކޮއްލަ ދިނެވެ.
“ކި… ކިހިނެތް ވީ…؟” އީވާން ކަރުނަތަށް ހިންދަން މަސައްކަތް ކުރަމުން އަހާލިއެވެ. “އެމީހަ… އަތް… ލީ…” އީނާލަށް އަނެއްކާ ވެސް ރޮވުނެވެ. ވީކީތް ކަން އީވާނަށް ދެނެ ގަނެވުނެވެ. ދުވެފައި ކަހަލަ ގޮތަކަށް ގޮސް ސިޓިންގް ރޫމުގައި އިން ފޯނު ނަގާ ޕޮލިހަށް ގުޅިއެވެ.
“އައްސަލާމު އަލައިކުމް” އެކޮޅުން ސަލާމް ގޮވާލިއެވެ. “ކޮންމެ ވެސް މީހަކު އަޅުގަނޑު ކޮއްކޮއާއި ބެހުނީ…” އީވާން ނުރޮއެ ކެތް ކޮއްލަމުން ބުނެލިއެވެ. އެކޮޅުން ފުން ނޭވާއެއް ދޫކޮށްލި އަޑު އިވުނެވެ.
“ކޮއްކޯ. ތިކަހަލަ ޕްރޭންކް ކޯލްސް ކުރާކަށް ނުވާނޭނުން؟ އަހަރެމެން ހާދަ ކަމެއް ކުރަން އެބަ ހުއްޓޭ” އެކޮޅުން ބުނެލިއެވެ.
“މިއީ ޕްރޭންކް ކޯލެއް ނޫނޭ. ހަމަ އަސްލު-” އީވާން ވާޙަކަ ދައްކަ ދައްކާ ހުއްޓާ އެކޮޅުން ފޯނު ބޭއްވިއެވެ. އައި ރުޅީގައި އީވާން ފޯނު ހޫރާލިއެވެ.
ދެއަތް މުއްކަވާލަމުން އީވާން ދަތްކުނޑި ވިކާލިއެވެ. ހީވީ ދަތްތަށް މުގުރާލަފާނެ ހެންނެވެ. އީވާންގެ ހަށިގަނޑު ތުރުތުރު ލަމުން ދިޔަ އިރު ދެލޮލުގައި ވީ ބަދަލު ހިފުމުގެ ރޫހެވެ.
