އާދައިގެ މަތިން ދެ އެކުވެރިން އެކުގައި ވަގުތު ހޭދަކުރަމުން ދިޔަ ދުވަހެކެވެ. ރަޝިޔާގެ އަވަށެއްގެ ކާރޫ ބާރޫ ބޮޑު މަގެއްގެ އަނެއް ފަރާތުގައި ވާ ގަސްތަކުގެ ތެރެއަށް ދިޔުމަށްޓަކައި ދެ އެކުވެރިން ތިބީ ތައްޔާރުވެގެންނެވެ.
ދުއްވާއެއްޗިހި މަދުވި ވަގުތެއްގައި އަވަސް އަވަހަށް މަގު ހުރަސްކުރުމަށްޓަކައި ދުއްވައިގަތެވެ. ނަމަވެސް ސަލާމަތުން ދެވުނީ އެކަކަށެވެ. ބާރު ދުވެލީގައި އައި ކާރެއް ދަށުވެ އަންހެން އެކުވެރިޔާ މަރުވިއެވެ. ގާތް އެކުވެރިޔަކު ނެތި ދިޔުމަކީ ރަހުމްހުރި ކޮންމެ ހިތަކަށްވެސް ކެތްކުރަން ދަތި ހިތާމައަކަށް ވެދެއެވެ. ހިތާމައިން ހިތް ހަލާކުވެފައިވާ ރަހުމަތްތެރިޔާ، މަރުވެދިޔަ އެކުވެރިޔާއަށް އެހީވާން މަސައްކަތްކުރިއެވެ. ވަރަށް މަސައްކަތުން މަގުން ނަގައި ގަސްތަކުގެ ތެރެއަށް ގެންދިޔައެވެ. އަދި އެކުވެރިޔާ ލޯ ހުޅުވާތޯ ގޮވައި ހެދިއެވެ.
އެކުވެރިޔާ ގާތުގައި، އޭނާގެ ދިފާއުގައި ފާރަވެރިވެ އެހެން ހުންނަތާ ހަފްތާއެއް ވީއިރުވެސް ވަލު ޖަނަވާރަށް ދޫކޮށް ދާ ޚިޔާލެއް ނުކުރިއެވެ. ރެއާއި ދުވާލު، އުންމީދު ކަނޑާނުލައި އެކުވެރިޔާ ލޯހުޅުވާލާނެ އިރެއްގެ އިންތިޒާރުގައި އިނެވެ. ދެން ދުވަހަކުވެސް އެ ލޯ ނުހުޅުވާނެކަން ގަބޫލުކުރަން ވެސް ބޭނުން ނުވަނީއެވެ. އެ މަންޒަރު ފެނިގެން އެ ހިސާބަށް އަންނަ އެއްވެސް މީހަކު، މަރުވެފައިވާ އެކުވެރިޔާއާ ގާތް ވިޔަކަ ނުދެއެވެ.
މިއީ ދެ އިންސާނުންގެ ވާހަކައެއް ނޫނެވެ. މިއީ ދެ ކުއްތާގެ ވާހަކައެވެ. އެކުގައި އުޅުނު ކުއްތާއެއް މަރުވުމުން އޭތި ކައިރީގައި ފާރަޔަށް އިންދެ އެއް ހަފްތާ ވީއިރުވެސް ދުރަކަށް ނުދިޔައެވެ. ގާތް ފަރާތެއް ނެތި ދިޔުމަކީ ޖަނަވާރުންނަށް ވެސް ހިތާމައާއި ހިތްދަތިކަން ކުރިމަތިވާ ކަމެކެވެ.
މަރުވެފައިވާ އަންހެން ކުއްތާގެ ފާރައަށް އިން ފިރިހެން ކުއްތާގެ ހަރަކާތްތައް ދުށް މީހުންވަނީ އެކަމާ ވަރަށް ހައިރާން ވެފައެވެ. އަދި އެފަދަ ވަފާތެރިކަމެއް އެސޮރުގެ ކިބައިން ފެންނާތީ އެއަވަށުގެ ގިނަބަޔަކު އެ ކުއްތާ އެމީހުންގެ ގެއަށް ގެންދަން ވަރަށް ބޭނުންވިއެވެ.
