މީ އަޅުގަނޑުގެ ފުރަތަމަ ވާހަކަ. އަޅުގަނޑުގެ ދިވެހި ވަރަށް ކޮށިވާނެ. ކުޑައިރުއްސުރެ ރާއްޖެއިން ބޭރުގަ އުޅޭތީ ދިވެހި ބަސް ސުކޫލުގައެއް ނުކިޔަވަން އެހެންވެ ބަހުގެ ހަމަތައް (ބޭސިކަލީ ދިވެހި ގްރެމަރ) ވަރަށް ދަށް ވާނެ. ސޯ ދެއަރ ވިލް ބީ ލޮޓްސް އޮފް މިސްޓޭކްސް. ޕްލީސް ޕޮއިންޓް ދެމް އައުޓް. އަސްލު ވާހަކަ މި ލިޔަނީ ވެސް ދިވެހި އިމްޕްރޫވް ކުރަން. އެކަމް ވާހަކަ ރެގިއުލަރ ކޮށް އަޕް ކުރަން ފަށާނީ ޑިސެމްބަރ 1 ގެ ފަހުން.

ޒިވެން އޭނާގެ ކާރަށް އަރައިގެން މިސްރާބު ޖެހީ ވިލިނގިލި ފެރީ ޓަރމިނަލްއާ ދިމާލަށެވެ. ދުވަހަކީ ހުކުރު ދުވަހަށް ވެފައި އަދި އެހާ ބޯކޮށް ވާރޭ ވެހޭތީ މަގުމަތީގައި ދުއްވާ އެއްޗިސް އެހެން ދުވަސްތަކާ ޙިލާފަށް ގިނައެވެ. އެހެން ކަމުން އޭނާ ކާރު ދުއްވަން ޖެހުނީ ތަންކޮޅެއް މަޑުންނެވެ. ޖީބުގައި އޮތް ފޯނު ރިންގް ވާން ފެށުމުން އޭނާ އެއަށް ޖަވާބު ދިނެވެ. “ޒިވެން، ކޮބާ؟ މިހާރު ކޮންއިރެއް އަހަރެން އިންތިޒާރުގަ މިހެން އިންނަތާ؟” މީރާގެ އަޑުންވެސް ހިތްހަމަ ނުޖެހިފައި ހުރި ވަރު ހާމަވެއެވެ. “ސޮރީ ބޭބް. ޓްރެފިކް އާ ހެދި ލަސްވަނީ. ޓްވެންޓީ މޯރ މިނިޓްސް ޕްލީސް.” ޒިވެން އެއް އަތުން ކާރު ދުއްވަމުން އަނެއް އަތުން ފޯނު ކަންފަތުގައި ޖައްސައިގެން އިނދެ ފުން ނޭވާއެއް ދޫކޮށްލިއެވެ. “ފައިން. ޔޫ ބެޓާރ ބީ ހިއާރ އިން ޓްވެންޓީ މިނިޓްސް. އޯރ އެލްސް…” ޒިވެންގެ ތުންފަތުގައި ހިނިތުންވުމެއް ކުޅެލިއެވެ. “އޯރ އެލްސް ވަޓް؟” “ދަތް އަޅާނީ.” މީރާގެ އަޑުގައިވީ ލާނެތް ކަމެވެ. “އަނެއްކާ؟” ޒިވެން ހިނިގަނޑެއް ޖަހާލަމުން ކާރުގެ ދުވެލި ބާރުކޮށްލިއެވެ. “އަދި މިއުޅެނީ ރޭގަ ދަތް އެޅި ތަނުންވެސް ތަދު ނުފިލައިން.” “ހާދަ ފިނޑި އޭ ދޯ.” މީރާ ގަސްތުގައި ދިމާކޮށްލިއެވެ. ” ޔޫ ކާންޓް އީވެން ހެންޑްލް އަ ލިޓްލް ބިޓް އޮފް ޕެއިން.” .”ފިނޑި އޭ؟ ތިއެއް ދައްކާލާނަމޭ.” ހަނި ގޯޅިއަކަށް އަޅާލަމުން ޒިވެން އޭނާގެ އަތުކުރީ އޮތް ރޮލެކްސް ގަޑިއަށް ނަޒަރު ހިންގާލިއެވެ. “ދެން އިނީ ބާކީ އެންމެ……ވަޓް ދަ ހެލް!” ކުއްލިއަކަށް ކާރު ކުރިމައްޗަށް މީހަކު އެރުމުން ސިއްސައިގެން ގޮސް ޒިވެންއަށް ތެޅިގަނެވުނެވެ. އަދި ވަގުތުން ކާރުގެ ބުރެކި ޖެއްސިއެވެ. ނަމަވެސް ކާރު ކޮންޓްރޯލު ނުވެ ގޮސް އެމީހާގެ ގައިގައި ޖެހި އެ މީހާ ވިއްސައިގެން ގޮސް ދުރުގައި ޖެހުނެވެ. “ޟިޓް، ޟިޓް، ޟިޓް.” ޒިވެން ކާރުގެ ދޮރުހުޅުވާލުމަށް ފަހު ނިކުތް އިރު މޫނުމަތިން ފާޅުވަނީ ހާސްކަމެވެ. ބާރަށް ދުވެލާފައި ގޮސް އެ ވެއްޓިފައި އޮތް މީހާ ކައިރިއަށް ދެވުނު އިރު އޭނާ އެއްކޮށް ތެމި ފޯވެއްޖެއެވެ. ޒިވެންގެ ކާރު މަގު މެދުގައި އޮތުމުން ޓްރެފިކް އަށް ބާރުބޮޑުވެ މުޅި ސަރަހައްދު ބަރުގޮނުތަކުގެ އަޑުން ގުގުމާލިއެވެ. އެކްސިޑެންޓެއް ހިނގައިފިކަން އެނގުމުން މީހުންތައް ހަލަބޮލިވެގެން ދިޔައީ އެހާ އަވަހަށެވެ. ކުޑަ ކަކޫ މައްޗަށް ތިރިވެ ޒިވެން ބިންމަތީގަ އޮތް އަންހެންމީހާއަށް އެއްވެސް އަނިޔާއެއް ލިބިފައިވޭތޯ ޗެކްކުރިއިރު އޭނާގެ ހިތް ބާރުބާރަށް ދިޔައީ ތެޅެމުންނެވެ. ނަސީބަކުން ބޭރު ފުށުން އެއްވެސް ޒަހަމެއްގެ އަސަރު ފެންނާކަށް ނެތެވެ. އެކަމް އެ މީހާ ހޭނެތިފަ އޮތުމުން ޒިވެންގެ ހާސްކަން އިތުރުވިއެވެ. އިތުރު ދެ ފިރިހެނުންގެ އެހީ އާ އެކު، ޒިވެން އެ އަންހެން މީހާ ކާރުގެ ފަހަތު ސީޓަށް އަރުވައިގެން ހޮސްޕިޓަލަށް މިސްރާބު ޖެހިއެވެ. “ޕްލީސް ގޯޑް. ލެޓް ހާ ބީ އޯލްރައިޓް.” ޒިވެންއަށް ހިތާހިތުން އެހެން ކިޔާލެވުނު އަދަދެއްވެސް ނޭގެއެވެ. ކާރުގެ ލޯގަނޑުން އޭނާ ފަހަތު ސީޓުގައި އޮތް މީހާއަށް ބަލާލިއެވެ. ރަތް ކުލައިގެ ބުރުގާ ތެރެއިން ހުދުވެފައިވާ މޫނު ފެންނަނީ ބަލިކަށި ގޮތަކަށެވެ. ކަޅުކުލައިގެ ބޮޑު ހެދުން ތެމިފައިވުމުން ހަށިގަނޑުގެ ވަނާތައް ކޮންމެސް ވަރަކަށް ފާޅުވެއެވެ. ބަލާބެލުމަށް ހީވަނީ ވިހި އެކާވީސް އަހަރުގެ ކުޑަކުއްޖެއް ހެންނެވެ. ހޮސްޕިޓަލަށް ދިޔަ މަގުމަތީގައި ޒިވެންގެ ފޯނު ދިޔައީ މެދުކެނޑުމެއް ނެތި ރިންގް ވަމުންނެވެ. ގުޅަނީ މީރާއެވެ. ނަމަވެސް ޒިވެން ހުރީ އެއަށް ޖަވާބު ދެވޭވަރަށް ވުރެ ބޮޑަށް ހާސްވެފައެވެ. އޭނާއަށް ހަމަޖެހުމުގެ ނޭވާއެއް ލެވޭނީ މި އެކްސިޑެންޓްވި ކުއްޖާ ޑޮކްޓަރަށް ދައްކާ ނިމުމުންނެވެ. ♡ ♡ ♡
ކަރީމް ޕްރައިވެޓް ހޮސްޕިޓަލްގެ އިމަޖެންސީ ރޫމްގެ ކުރިމަތީގައި ދެކޮޅަށް ހިނގާލަ ހިނގާލަ ހުރި ޒިވެންއަށް ވަނީ އެންމެންގެ ލޯތައް ހުއްޓިފައެވެ. ހިދުމަތް ހޯދަން އައިސްފަ ތިބި މީހުންގެ އިތުރުން އެ ހޮސްޕިޓަލްގެ މުއައްޒަފުންވެސް ހީވަނީ ބޭރުގެ ފިލްމްސްޓާރެއް ފެނިގެން އުޅޭހެންނެވެ. އެހެން ނުވާންވީ ސަބަބެއް ނެތެވެ. ޒިވެން އަކީ އެންމެ ރީތި ފިރިހެނުންގެ ތެރެއިން ގުނާލެވޭނެ އެކަކުކަން ހަމަ ގައިމެވެ. ހަ ފޫޓު ތިން އިންޗީގެ ދިގު އިސްކޮޅެކެވެ. އަޅި ކުލައިގެ ކަޅިއެކެވެ. މަޑު ޗޮކްލެޓު ކުލައިގެ އިސްތަށިގަނޑު ވަނީ ބޮލުގެ ދެފަރާތުން ތުނިކޮށް ކޮށާލެވިފައެވެ. އެ ޓޭން ވެފައިވާ މޫނުން ދޭހަކޮށްދެނީ ޒިވެން އަކީ ގިނަވަގުތު އަވީގައި އުޅޭ ޒުވާނެއް ކަމެވެ. ތުނބުޅި މަތިމަސް ކުރުކޮށް ސްޓައިލް ކޮށްފައި އިންގޮތުން އޭނާގެ ފިރިހެންވަންތަ ކަން އިތުރު ކޮށްދެއެވެ. ލައިގެން ހުރި ހުދު ކުލައިގެ ޓީޝާޓު ތެމިފައިވުމުން އެ ރީތި ހަށިގަނޑު ވަނީ ހާމަވެފައެވެ. ޑެނިމް ޖީންސްގެ ކުރިމަތީ ޖީބަށް އަތް ޖަހައިގެން ދެކޮޅަށް ހިނގަމުން ދިޔަ ޒިވެން އަށް މީހުން އޭނާއަށް ބަލާކަން އިހުސާސް ވިޔަސް އެކަމަކަށް ސަމާލުކަމެއް ނުދެއެވެ. ދާ ކޮންމެ ތަނަކުން މީހުންގެ ސަމާލުކަން ލިބުމަކީ އޭނާއަށް އާކަމެއް ނޫނެވެ. ޙުދު ޒިވެންވެސް އޭނާއަށް ގުދުރަތުން ލިބިފައިވަނީ އާދަޔާ ހިލާފު ރީތިކަމެއްކަން ގަބޫލުކުރެއެވެ. ނަމަވެސް އޭނާ އަކީ އެކަމާ ހެދި ބޮޑާވެ ދެއްކެން އުޅޭ މީހެއް ނޫނެވެ. ދިހަ މިނިޓް ފަހުން އިމަޖެންސީ ރޫމްގެ ދޮރު ހުޅުވާފައި ނަރުސް ކުއްޖެއް ނިކުމެ ޒިވެން އަށް ބޭސް ސިޓީއެއް ދިއްކޮށްލިއެވެ.
“ހައު އިޒް ޝީ؟” ބޭސް ސިޓީ ގަ ހިފަމުން ޒިވެން އަހާލިއެވެ. ޒިވެން ގެ ތޫނު ނަޒަރު އަމާޒުވުމުން ނަރުސް ކުއްޖާގެ ހިތަށް އެނގުންވެލައިން ދިޔައެވެ. މިހާ ރީތި ފިރިހެނުންވެސް ދުނިޔޭގައި އުޅޭ ދޯ އޭ ހިތަށް އެރިއެވެ. “މިހާރު ހޭއަރައިފި. ވާހަކަވެސް ދައްކާ. ކޮންކަޝަންއެއް އެކަމް އެހާ ސީރިއަސްއެއް ނޫން. އަދި ޓެސްޓްތަކެއް ހަދާލަން އެބަ ޖެހޭ.” ޒިވެން ހިފަހައްޓައިގެން ހުރި ނޭވާ ދޫކޮށްލިއެވެ. “އޯހް، ތޭންކް ގޯޑް. ކޭން އައި ޓޯކް ޓު ދަ ޑޮކްޓަރ އިން ޗާރޖް؟” “ލައްބަ. ބޭސް ނަންގަވައިގެން މި ކޮޅަށް ދުރުވެލައްވާ.” ބޭސްނަގަން ދަމުން ޒިވެން ބޭސް ސިޓީއަށް ނަޒަރު ހިންގާލިއެވެ. ދެ އިންޖެކްޝަނާއި ތިން އައިވީ ފުޅީގެ އިތުރުން ދެން ހުރީ ބޭސްތަކެކެވެ. ޒިވެން ބޭސް ސިޓީ މަތީގައި ލިޔެފައިވާ ބަލިމީހާގެ މައުލޫމާތު ކިޔާލިއެވެ.

ބޭސްހިފައިގެން ގޮސް ޒިވެން އިމަޖެންސީ ރޫމަށް ވަން ތަނާ ނަރުސް ކުއްޖާ ކައިރިއަށް އައިސް ބޭސް ކޮތަޅު އަތުލިއެވެ. “މިތާ މަޑު ކޮށްލައްވާ. ޑޮކްޓަރ ދުރުވާނެ އިރުކޮޅަކުން.” ޒިވެން ނަރުސް ކުއްޖާއަށް ޝުކުރު އަދާ ކޮށްފައި އޭނާ ދެއްކި ގޮނޑީގައި އިށީނެވެ. އެ ވަގުތު ކުއްލިއަކަށް މީރާ މަތިން ހަނދާންވުމުން އަވަހަށް ފޯނުން މެސެޖެއް ލިޔެފައި ވެގެން އުޅޭގޮތް އަންގާލަދިނެވެ. ޑޮކްޓަރ އައުމުން ޒިވެން އަވަހަށް ތެދުވެ ޑޮކްޓަރާއި ސަލާން ކޮށްލިއެވެ. “އަޅުގަނޑަކީ ޑޮކްޓަރ ނަދީމް އާދަމް. ކޮން ބޭފުޅެއް ތޯ ތީ؟” “.ޒިވެން. ޒިވެން އަލް ކަރީމް.” ޑޮކްޓަރ ނަދީމްގެ މޫނުމަތިން ހައިރާންކަން ފައުޅުވިއެވެ. “ރާޝިދު އަލް ކަރީމްގެ ދަރިފުޅު ތޯ؟” ޒިވެންއަށް އޭނާގެ ފުރިހަމަ ނަން ބުނެވުނީ އޮޅުމަކުންނެވެ. އެކަމަކު ދޮގު ހަދަން ބޭނުން ނުވާތީ ބޯ ޖަހާލިއެވެ. “ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް މައާފު ކުރައްވާތި. އަޅުގަނޑުމެންނަށް ނޭގުނީ ކޮން ބޭފުޅެއްކަން ތީ. އެހެން ނޫންނަމަ…” ޑޮކްޓަރ ނަދީމް ގެ ވާހަކަ މެދުކަނޑާލީ ޒިވެން ވާހަކަ ދައްކަން ފެށުމުންނެވެ. “ދެޓްސް އޯލް ރައިޓް.” ހަގީގަތަކީ ހުދު ޒިވެން އެ މީހުންނަށް އޭނާއަކީ ކާކުކަން އަންގަން ބޭނުން ނުވީކަމެވެ. ކަރީމް ޕްރައިވެޓް ހޮސްޕިޓަލަކީ އޭނާގެ ބައްޕަ މުހައްމަދު ބިން ރާޝިދު އަލް ކަރީމްގެ ތަނެކެވެ. ޒިވެންއަކީ އެއްވެސް ވަރަކަށް މީހުންގެ ސަމާލުކަން ބޭނުންވާ މީހަކަށް ނުވުމުން އޭނާ އެކަން ސިއްރު ކުރީއެވެ. އޭނާއަކީ ކާކުކަން ބުނެލާއިރަށް “ވީއައިޕީ ޓްރީޓްމެންޓް” ލިބޭނެކަން އެނގެއެވެ. ނަމަވެސް އެގޮތް ޒިވެން ބޭނުން ނުވީއެވެ. ޑޮކްޓަރ ނަދީމް، ޒިވެން ގެންދިޔައީ އޭނާގެ އޮފީހަށެވެ. “ޕޭޝަންޓް ހޭ އެރުމުން އަޅުގަނޑުމެން ސުވާލުތަކެއް ކުރިން. އޭނާ ބުނާގޮތުން ގަސްތުގައި ޒިވެންގެ ކާރު ކުރިމައްޗަށް އެރީ.”
“ވަޓް؟ އެހެންވީމަ ތިބުނަނީ ޝީ ވޯންޓެޑް ޓު ކަމިޓް ސުއިސައިޑް އޭ ތަ؟” ޒިވެންއަށް ގަބޫލުކުރަން ދަތިވިއެވެ. ޑޮކްޓަރ ނަދީމް ބޯ ޖަހާލިއެވެ. ” ހޮސްޕިޓަލްގެ ގަވާއިދުގައިވާ ގޮތުން އެކްސިޑެންޓް ވެގެން މީހަކު ގެނެސްފިއްޔާ ފުލުހުންނަށް އެންގުމަކީ ހޮސްޕިޓަލުން ކުރަންޖެހޭ ކަމެއް. އަދި މި ކޭސްއަކީ އެޓެމްޕްޓެޑް ސުއިސައިޑް ކޭސް އަކަށް ވީމަ ފުލުހުންނަށް އެންގުން މުހިއްމު. އެކަމަކު އަޅުގަނޑުމެން އެ ޗޮއިސް ދޫ ކޮށް ލާނީ ޒިވެންއަށް.”
ޒިވެން އިސްތަށިގަނޑުގައި އަތް ހިންގާލިއެވެ. ރަނގަޅު ގޮތަކީ ފުލުހުންނަށް އެންގުމެވެ. އެކަމަކު އޭރުން ޒިވެންގެ އާއިލާގެ ނަން ނޫސްތަކުގެ ފަލަ ސުރުހީއަށް އަރާނެއެވެ. ހާއްސަކޮށް އޭނާގެ ނަމެވެ. އެއްވެސް ގޮތަކަށް އެހެން އެކަން ވާކަށް އޭނާ ބޭނުމެއް ނޫނެވެ. އަލް ކަރީމް އާއިލާ އަކީ މުޅި ދުނިޔެއަށް މަޝްހޫރު އާއިލާއެކެވެ. ޒިވެންގެ މަންމަ ހާރިސަތު އަކީ މާލޭ މީހަކަސް ބައްޕަ މުހައްމަދު ބިން ރާޝިދު އަލް ކަރީމް އަކީ ގަތަރުގެ ވިޔަފާރިވެރިއެކެވެ. ހާރިސަތު ވަޒީފާ އަދާކުރަމުން ގެންދިޔައީ ގަތަރުގެ ދިވެހި ރާއްޖޭގެ އެމްބަސީގައެވެ. ރާޝިދުއާއި ދިމާވީ އެ ކޮޅުގައި އުޅެނިކޮށެވެ. ކައިވެނިކޮށްގެން އަހަރެއް ނުވަނީސް ކައިވެނި ރޫޅެން ޖެހުނީ ރާޝިދު އެހެން އަންހެނުންނާއި ގުޅުން ބާއްވާކަން ހާރިސަތުއަށް އެނގުމުންނެވެ. ނުވަމަހުގެ ޒިވެން ގޮވައިން އޭނާ ރާއްޖެ ބަދަލުވީއެވެ. ކަައިވެނި ރޫޅުނަސް ރާޝިދު ހާރިސަތުއަށް މާލެއިން ބޮޑު ބިމެއްގަނެފައި ގެއެއް އަޅާލަދިނެވެ. އުމުރު ދުވަހު އަރާމުގައި އުޅެވޭނެ ވަރަށް އެކައުންޓަށް ލާރި ޖަމާ ކޮށްލަދިނެވެ. އޭގެ އިތުރުން ޒިވެންގެ ހަރަދުތައް ބަލަހައްޓަން ވަކިން ލާރި ފޮނުވިއެވެ. ރާޝިދުއަކީ ރަނގަޅު ފިރިއަކަށް ނުވެވުނަސް ރަނގަޅު ބައްޕައެކެވެ. ދީލަތި މީހެކެވެ. ޒިވެން ބޮޑުވަމުން އައިއިރު އަހަރަކު ތިން ފަހަރު އޭނާގެ ބައްޕައަށް ޒިޔާރަތް ކުރެއެވެ. އެހެންކަމުން ރާޝިދުއާއި ޒިވެންގެ ގުޅުން ވަރަށް ފުރިހަމައެވެ. ގުރޭޑް ދިހައެއް ނިންމާފައި ޒިވެން މަތީ ތައުލީމު އަދާކުރަން ބޭނުން ވީ އެމެރިކާ އިންނެވެ. ރާޝިދުގެ ނުފޫޒުން ހާރވަޑް ޔުނިވާރސިޓީއިން ޒިވެން އަށް ޖާގަ ހަމަޖެހުނެވެ. ޒިވެން އާއެއްކޮށް ހާރިސަތުވެސް އެމެރިކާއަށް ދިރިއުޅުން ބަދަލު ކުރިއެވެ.

ޒިވެން އެމެރިކާގަ ދިރިއުޅުނަސް ދޭތެރެ ދޭތެރެއިން ރާއްޖެއަށް އާދެއެވެ. މިފަހަރުވެސް ޒިވެން އައިސްގެން އުޅެނީ ރާޝިދުގެ އެދުމުގެ މަތިން ރިސޯރޓުތަކުގެ ވިޔަފާރި ދާ ގޮތް ބަލާލުމަށެވެ. އޭނާ އަބަދުވެސް މަޑު ކުރަނީ ރިސޯރޓުގައި ވިޔަސް މި ދަތުރު މާލޭގައި ހަފްތާއެއް މަޑުކޮށްލަން ނިންމީ މާލޭގައި އުޅޭ ޒިވެންގެ މަންމަ ފަރާތު އާއިލާގެ އެދުމުގެ މަތިންނެވެ. ޒިވެން ފުންނޭވާއެއް ދޫ ކޮށްލަމުން ޑޮކްޓަރ ނަދީމްއާ ހަތަރު ކަޅި ހަމަކޮށްލިއެވެ. “ފުލުހުންނަށް އަންގާނެ ކަމެއް ނެތް.” ޑޮކްޓަރ ނަދީމް ބޯ ޖަހާލިއެވެ. ހޮސްޕިޓަލް ވެރިމީހާގެ ދަރިފުޅުގެ ހައިސިއްޔަތުން ޒިވެން ބޭނުން ގޮތަކަށް ކަންތައް ކުރުމުގެ ބާރު އޭނާއަށް ލިބިގެން ވެއެވެ. ހޮސްޕިޓަލް ހިންގަން ހަވާލުވެގެން ހުރި ޑޮކްޓަރ ފައިސަލްވެސް ޒިވެންއާއި ބައްދަލު ކުރިއެވެ. އޭނާއާއި ވާހަކަ ދެއްކުމަށް ފަހު ޒިވެން މިސްރާބު ޖެހީ ތިންވަނަ ފަންގިފިލާގައިވާ ޕްރައިވެޓް ރޫމަކަށެވެ. އޭނާގެ އެދުމުގެ މަތިން އެކްސިޑެންޓްވި މަރިޔަމް އިފާ ވަނީ އެ ކޮޓަރިއަށް ބަދަލު ކުރެވިފައެވެ. ޑޮކްޓަރ ނަދީމްގެ އިރުޝާދުގެ ދަށުން އިފާ ހޮސްޕިޓަލުން ދޫކުރުމަށް ހަމަ ޖެހިފައިވަނީ އޭގެ އަނެއް ދުވަހުއެވެ.
ޒިވެން ރޫމަށް ވަންނަން އުޅެނިކޮށް ފޯނު ރިންގް ވާން ފެށިއެވެ. ގުޅަނީ މީރާއެވެ. “ހޭއި ބޭބް. އަދިވެސް ހޮސްޕިޓަލްގަ އިނގޭ.” ފޯނު ނެގިގޮތަށް ޒިވެން ބުނެލިއެވެ. އަދި މީރާއަށް އަޕްޑޭޓް ކޮށްލަދިނެވެ. “ދެން.” މީރާގެ އަޑުގައިވީ ހިތްހަމަ ނުޖެހުމެވެ. ” ނުވެސް ދަންނަ މީހެއްގެ ކަމެއްގަ ތިހާ ވަރުން އުޅެން ޖެހޭތަ؟” “އައި ހިޓް ހާ ވިތް މައި ކާރ. ސޯ އައި ފީލް ރެސްޕޮންސިބްލް.” “އެކަމް ޒިވެން ބުނީމެއްނު މިހާރު އޭނަ އޯކޭ އޭ. މާދަން ދޫކޮށްލާނެ އޭވެސް. ސޯ ދެން ކީއްވެ މަޑުކުރަނީ ތިތާ؟ ” “އޭނައާއި ވާހަކަ ދައްކާލަފައެއް ނު ދެވޭނީ. ” “އޯކޭ ފައިން. އެކަމް އަވަހަށް އަންނަށްޗޭ.” ފޯނު ބޭއްވުމަށް ފަހު ޒިވެން ކޮޓަރި ދޮރު ހުޅުވާލައިފަ އެތެރެ އަށް ވަނެވެ.
އެނދު ކައިރީ ހަރަކާތް ތެރިވަމުން ދިޔަ ނަރުސް ކުއްޖާ ޒިވެން އަށް ހިނިތުންވުމެއް ހަދިޔާ ކޮށްލިއެވެ. “ޕޭޝަންޓްއަށް ނިދިފަ އޮތީ.” “އަޅުގަނޑު މަޑުކޮށްލާ ނަން.” ޒިވެން އެނދުގެ އެއްފަރާތުގައި ވާ ސޯފާ ގައި އިށީނެވެ. ނަރުސް ކުއްޖާ ދިޔުމުން ޒިވެން އެނދުގަ އޮތް އަންހެން ކުއްޖާއަށް ފުން ކޮށް ބަލާލިއެވެ. އަތް ދިގުގަޔަށް ދޫ ހޮސްޕިޓަލް ގައުންއެއް ގައި ފެންނަ އިރު ހީވަނީ ކުޑަ ކުއްޖެއް ހެންނެވެ. އެއް އަތަށް ވަނީ އައިވީއެއް ގުޅާފައެވެ. ނިދާފަ އޮތް އިރުވެސް ބޮލުގައި ފޮތިގަނޑެއް އޮޅާފައިވުމުން ޒިވެންއަށް މަޖާ ވިއެވެ. އެ ދޮން މޫނުމަތީގައިވަނީ މައުސޫމު ކަމެވެ. ޒިވެން ބޭނުންވަނީ މިހާ މައުސޫމު ވައްތަރު ޖަހާ ކުއްޖެއް އަމިއްލައަށް މަރުވާން މަސައްކަތް ކުރަން ޖެހުނީ ކީއްވެގެން ކަން ދެނެގަންނާށެވެ. އޭގެ ފަހަތުގައި ކޮންމެވެސް ސަބަބެއް ވާނެއެވެ. އެ ސަބަބު އެނގުން އޭނާއަށް މުހިއްމުވީ ކީއްވެގެން ކަމެއް ނޭގެއެވެ. Guys, I feel like I need to tell you this since one very sweet reader kindly assumed that my author’s note at the beginning was a ploy to get sympathy and attention from y’all. That is like 95% incorrect (5% true cz let’s all be honest here, we all need attention right ?)

Hey guys, I don’t know if anyone will check this but I wanted to apologize for not updating like I promised. My Dad passed away on November 14th and I have been struggling with that since then. We were very close, he was like my best friend and I just didn’t know how to handle the sudden loss. I lost interest in everything and kinda shut myself from everyone. I’m still not over his death but I’m doing better now. I apologize for not updating and hope you guys understand. I’m going to start writing this again, slowly, taking my time, because somedays I still wake up feeling miserable and I don’t think I can stick to a schedule. So when (or if) I finish the whole story, I’ll upload it all at once.
