   2. Guys, I feel like I need to tell you this since one very sweet reader kindly assumed that my author’s note at the beginning was a ploy to get sympathy and attention from y’all. That is like 95% incorrect (5% true cz let’s all be honest here, we all need attention right ?)

      I was super nervous when I posted this, and just wanted to make sure everyone knew my dhivehi background. I didn’t study dhivehi in school but I read dhivehi stories a lot so that might be why I don’t completely suck at writing. (This is your cue to agree with me and tell me that I don’t suck ?)

53. Hey guys, I don’t know if anyone will check this but I wanted to apologize for not updating like I promised. My Dad passed away on November 14th and I have been struggling with that since then. We were very close, he was like my best friend and I just didn’t know how to handle the sudden loss. I lost interest in everything and kinda shut myself from everyone. I’m still not over his death but I’m doing better now. I apologize for not updating and hope you guys understand. I’m going to start writing this again, slowly, taking my time, because somedays I still wake up feeling miserable and I don’t think I can stick to a schedule. So when (or if) I finish the whole story, I’ll upload it all at once.
