ގަޑިން ދަންވަރު ބާރަ ޖަހައިފިއެވެ. މުޅި ރަށް ވަނީ ހިމޭނ ވެފައެވެ. އެއްވެސް ގެއެއްގަ ބޮއްކެތް ދިއްލާފައެއްނެތެވެ. އެދުމަތީގައި ދެކޮޅު ދެކޮޅަށް ފުރޮޅެމުން ދިޔަ ހިންދުގެ ލޮލަކަށް ނިދީގެ ކަންފުޅެއްވެސް ނެތެވެ. ދެލޯ މަރާލަން ބޭނުން ނުވެފައި އޮތެވެ. ބަލާ މީހަކަށް އޭނާ އެދަނީ ވަރަށް ބޮޑުކަމަކާ ފިކުރުކުރަމުން ކަންއެގޭނެއެވެ. ދެލޯ ފުރި ބަންޑުންވާ ހޫނު ކަރުނަތަށް ބާލީހުގައި ބޮސް ދިނުމަށްފަހު ކަޝްފުވެއެވެ. މަޑުމަޑުން އަޑު ބޭރުވާން ފެށިއެވެ. އަގައިގެ މަތީ ދެއަތް އެޅީ އަޑު ބޭރުކުރަން ބޭނުން ނުވުމުންނެވެ. ކުރިމަތީގައި އެދުގައި އޮތް ހިންދުގެ ދައްތަ މިޝާ އަށް ބެލިހިނދު އެހިތުގައި ރިއްސާލިއެވެ. މީގެ ތިން ހަފްތާ ކުރިން ފެނުނު ހުވަފެން އަނެއްކާވެސް ލޯމައްޗަށް ސިފަވިއެވެ.
ހިންދުގެ ދޮންމަންމަ ދާނިޔާ ހިންދުއަށް އަނިޔ ކުރާތާ މިވީ ފަސްވަރަކަށް އަހަރެވެ. ކުށަކާނުލާ ބޮޑެތި ދަނޑިބުރިތަކުންނާ އެއްޗިހިން ބެލުމެއްނެތި ހިންދު ގައިގަ ތަޅާގަނެއެވެ. އާމުކޮށް ދާނިޔާގެ އަނިޔާ އަރަނީ ހިންދުގެ ބޮލަށެވެ. ހިންދުއަށް ހުވަފެނުގައި ފެނުނީ ދާނިޔާ ހިންދު އަށް އަނިޔާ ކުރާތަނެވެ. އަދި ހިންދު އެންމެ އަޅައިގަތް ތަނަކީ އެއް ދުވަހު ހިންދު ޓީވީ ބަލަން އިނުމުން ދާނިޔާ ހިންދު ބޮލުގައި މޮހޮރު ހުރި ފިލައެއް ޖެހިތަން ހުވަފެނުގައި ތިން ހަތަރު ފަހަރު ފެނުމުންނެވެ. އެއީ މީގެ ދެއަހަރ ކުރިއެވެ. ހިންދު އެކަން ހަދާނެއްވެސް ނެތެވެ. އަދި ހިންދު އަށް ހުވަފެނުގައި ފެނުނީ ހިންދު ބޮލުގައި ޓިއުމަރެއް ހުރިތަނެވެ.
އޭގެ އަނެއް ދުވަހު ހިންދު ޑޮކްޓަރަށް ދެއްކި އިރު އޭނާގެ ހުވަފެން ތެދުވީ އެވެ. ހިންދުއަކީ ދެނ މާގިނ ދުވަހުގެ މެޙްމާނެއް ނޫނެވެ.
މިޙިޔާލުތަށް ޙަދާން ވުމުން ހިންދު އަށް ބާރަށް ހަޅޭއްލަވާ ގަނެވުނެވެ. މި އަޑަށް އެދުގައި އަރާމުކޮށް ނިދައިފައި އޮތް މިޝާ ޖެހުނީ ކޮޅަށެވެ. “ހިންކޮ.. ހިންކޮ.. ކިހިނެއްވީ؟” އެ ގޭގައި ހިންދުއާއި ލޯބިން ވާހަކަ ދައްކާ މީހަކަށް އުޅޭނީ މިޝާ އެކަންޏެވެ. ދެން ހުސް ތިބީ ދުރުހިލޭ ބަޔެކޭ ބުއްޏަސް ދޮގަކަށް ނުވާނެއެވެ. “ދޮންތާ!” ހިންދު ނިންމީ އެހުރިހާ ވާހަކަ އެއް ކިޔާދޭށެވެ. ހިންދު އަލިފުން ޔާ އަށް އެންމެ އަކުރެއްވެސް ވައްޓާނުލާ ކިޔާ ދިނެވެ. މިޝާ ހިންދު ގައިގައި ބައްދައިގަތެވެ. މިޝާގެ ދެލޯ ފުރިގެން ބަންޑުންވި ހުރިހާ ކަރުނަތަކެއް ވެއްޓުނީ ހިންދުގެ ކަނދުރާ މައްޗަށެވެ. މިޝާ ހިންދުގެ ނިތްކުރި އަށް އެތަށް ފަހަރަކު ބޮސް ދިނެވެ. އެތަށް ފަހަރަކު ހިންދު ނުދާށޭ ވެސް ބުއްޏެވެ. މަރަކީ މިޝާ އަށް ހިފޭނެ އެއޗެއް ނޫނެވެ. ހިފޭނެ އެއްޗެއް ނަމަ މިޝާ މުޅި އުމުރަށްވެސް ހިފަހައްޓާނެއެވެ. ދޮންމަންމަ ހިންދު ދެކެ ރުޅި އަންނަންވީ ކީއްވެ ހެއްޔެވެ. ހިންދު ކަޅުވީމަ ހެއްޔެވެ. އެހެން އިންސާނުންނެކޭ އެއްފަދައިން ހިންދުގެވެސް އޮންނަނީ ހިތެކެވެ. އެ ހިތަށް ވެސް ކެތްކުރެ ވޭނީ ވަކި ވަރަކަށެވެ. އޭނާގެ އޮންނަނީ ހިރި ގަލެއް ނޫނެވެ. މީހަކު އަނިޔާ ކުރިޔަސް އެކައްޗެކޭވެސް ނާރަން، އޭނާގެ އޮންނަނީ ހިރި ގަލެއްނޫނެވެ. ދާނިޔާ ފަދަ ހިތެކެވެ.
ހިންދު މިދުނިޔެއާ އަލްވަދާޢު ކިޔާފިނަމަ މިޝާގެ ހިތަށް ކުރާނެ އަސަރު މިހާރުވެސް ހިންދު އަށް އިހުސާސް ކުރެވެއެވެ. ހިންދު ދުވަހަކު ވެސް އޭނަ ދައްތަ ދެރަވާނެ ފަދަ ކަމެއް ނުވުމަށް އެދެއެވެ. އެކަމަކު ކީއްކުރނީ ހެއްޔެވެ. މިރޭ ހިންދުއަށް ފުރަތަމަ ފަހަރު ދައްތަ ކަރުނަ އޅާ ރުއިތަން ފެނިއްޖެއެވެ. އެތަން ބަލަން ހުންނަ މީހެއްގެ ހިތަށް އަސަރު ނުކޮށެއް ނުވާނެކަން ޔަގީނެވެ.
